SAFETY
This is the Kõrvemaa Nature Reserve. Be attentive to your surroundings. The area is closed to non-competitors, but foragers are clever and know secret paths to sneak into the area to pick excellent blueberries, wild strawberries, and chanterelles. Berries are edible raw, but mushrooms need to be cooked. Do not eat berries that you do not recognize. Keep an eye out for foragers!
Equip yourself with mosquito and horsefly repellents. There are many, especially in hot weather. General archery safety rules apply.
FIRST AID is located in the large restaurant building at the competition site, behind the door closest to the main tent. According to Estonian law, first aid is not allowed to distribute medications. Phone +372 5623 1123
COMPETITION AND COURSES
4 courses, with competition classes moving clockwise on different days: e.g., LB
- yellow,
- red,
- green,
- blue,
- yellow.
The morning briefing takes place on the practice field, from where participants move to their course gathering points.
1 practice field – open in the mornings for official practice from 7:00 – 8:50;
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – informal and not organized practice from 7 PM – 8 PM
- Shoot starts – one long whistle;
- Stop or Cancel shooting – 3 short whistles – bows down; wait! – mess on course!
- 1 short – you may continue shooting.
- DANGER! – Stop competiton – CAR DRIVING and beeping throw courses
Course peculiarities
If it rains, the courses can be very slippery, be careful; The courses are dense and compact, which necessitates strict adherence to these rules:
You are not in a hurry (often you will see the STOP sign for your next target); If there is already one group there, please pass the time in front of the target you just completed to avoid group congestion in slow spots.
If the group in front of you has finished shooting, wait no further than 2 meters from the STOP sign.
Always make sure the area behind the target is clear!
Archery RANGES are tight, HIGH DRAW not allowed, if catched by IFAA delegates, can be disqualified.
If you forget something at the previous target, You can’t walk back . Following group will bring them for you.
Searching for arrows is allowed, but it must not obstruct the movement rhythm of the next group. Unjustified delays in starting the shooting are not allowed.
General
- Movement on the courses is marked with flags of the course color, do not wander off;
- As a rule, the direction of movement to the next target to the right or left is marked with a flag next to the target;
- Smoking (including vaping) is only allowed at water points, and all your waste (cigarette butts) must be taken off the course. Throwing them to forest and beeing catched – A fine of up to 200€ for violating the rule;
- This is a nature reserve. Leaving trash and empty bottles on the competition course is prohibited. Trash bins are near the toilets.
Ranges
Yellow 2.3 km: It is advisable to use clockwise movement to exit the course. If you use the backtracking method to exit the course, from target 22 to target 1, 80% of the return path is covered with danger zones – crossing the shooting line; this is marked with a 1m yellow plastic tape across the road.
Gatering: Before target 20;
The course service will notify the group when it is possible to start shooting at target 20; congestion may occur at the following targets; it is more comfortable to wait for your shooting turn while sitting on a chair; The café sells drinks, pastries, soup, and coffee. - Toilet 2: next to the main tent under the birches.
Red 2.3 km: The locations of the café (between 21/22) and the toilet (before 22 and the main tent) are shared with the yellow course.

Green course: The green course is crossed by a public road, and we cannot prohibit local residents from driving through. The approach of a car is indicated by a Marshall whistle on the road. Local farms are aware that archers move and shoot on the road from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This concerns targets 19-21. There are 3 farms in the area. Target 21 must move off the road to target 22 STOP sign.
- Sitting in the middle of the road is prohibited.

Blue Course: Longest course. The farthest point is 1.4 km by walk; Many blueberries on Monday.
This is a public tourism object and recreation area, which the competition organizer has rented for the competition days, and the area is closed to other people, but still, make sure that shooting is safe for the surroundings.

RESULTS
- At each course target 3 (the closest point to the competition center), the course Marshall collects the scorecards when leaving the course. Group have to arrive same time.
- The Marshall checks that the data matches and the scorecards have the signatures of the competitors.
- The cards must have identical final numbers on front page.
- The scorecard from the previous day can be collected from the information point under the main tent if desired.

Catering
- The restaurant on the second floor of the main building offers daily specials and breakfast, which must be pre-purchased with regular money by 9 PM the previous day. You can also buy for the whole week at once.

Free Time and Entertainment
- Every day there is a different product promotion day, which can be purchased with tokens from the café on the yellow and red tracks and the main tent. Buyers are given a paper on which they write their name, put it in the lottery box, and the draw will take place the next morning with prizes awarded.
- Wednesday evening: TEAM OF NATIONS Games – Official B-Vitamin Day – The lottery game starts after leaving the tracks.
- Banquet – Friday evening – a written invitation or wristband is required to enter the room!
- Award Ceremony – Saturday – in Jäneda at 12:00
- Saturday – gathering of volunteers at 15:00 – to clean up the area
